Chapter one page 9

“Sounds good, but i still don’t know where we are going, so how do i know if i am going to like it there?” Kaitlin was still trying to pry information out of me to our surprise holiday, pouting with her lips, and beautiful luscious lips they are too. Everything about her was beautiful. When she smiled her green eyes sparkled, lighting up her whole face.

“Trust me babe you are going to love where we are going, now no more trying to get the destination out of me, this is a surprise and it’s going to stay that way until we arrive there.”

Just then Kaitlin’s phone rang it was her mum. “I am just going to have a shower.” I whisper as she takes the call. Kat nods to me as she begins to chat to her mum.
Kaitlin’s mom Helena Southers is an architect with her own company, one of Kaitlin’s older brothers also an architect working in the company. Kaitlin’s mom very supportive of our relationship and living together, she treated me like one of the family.

I stood naked under the water my hands on the marble shower wall, i closed my eyes, feeling the warm water flow over my naked body, deep in thought, my mind always wandering back to my father, the pictures the contracts. How could i not, those images now permanently in my head. The images were very graphic, sexual, violent, and sadistic. Had my father being cheating on my mum, how long had this been going on, why was he doing this, who were these women, how many women had there been. My father was always going away on business trips, what exactly was taking place on these trips besides business? How many had there been, these were just a few of the questions that kept going over in my mind.

I had finished my shower drying my body wrapping a large bath sheet around my waist, then standing in front of the mirror combing my hair, examining myself, looking at my reflection in the mirror. I was my father’s blood, i wasn’t like him; would i be? Yes i was strong like him, driven, we had the same eyes, i was a little taller than my father, he was 6ft i was 6ft 3” my mother thought i would never stop growing. I kept myself very fit like my dad, we would quite often run together or do a training session when he had the time, our hair colour the same, dark brown to black, but that’s where i saw the similarities stop. Do the traits of a father pass to a son like looks, and other characteristics do?
